Started photograpy in Jan of 1973 with a Minolta 35mm. Did the dark room thing and contact sheets.
Been a not too serious amatuer since then.
A digital camera in December of 2008 started the fire again. I like to think of myself as an outdoorsman so my pics are gonna reflect the place I go to hunt, fish, explore.
For the first time in decades I am taking my camera with me where ever I go. Now lugging a tripod too. Carrying a point and shoot but trying to figure a way to move up to 35mmm SLR digital. I give my cameras a tough assigment on the streams and rivers and mountains that I explore. They get wet and banged so I guess a point and shoot is always going to be a companion as I don't want to risk drowning a high end SLR.
